CONDITIONS OF USE :

1 - Purpose

These general terms and conditions of sale are intended to define the contractual relations between

- Shadesgeneva located at Rue du Port 8-10 – 1204 Geneva – Switzerland, a company registered in the Geneva Commercial Register under the number CHE-107.758.877 and publisher of the website www.shadesgeneva.com

- and any natural or legal person wishing to make a purchase via the Shadesgeneva website, hereinafter referred to as the Client.

The acquisition of a property through this site implies an unreserved acceptance by the Customer of these general terms and conditions of sale.

Shadesgeneva reserves the right to modify its general terms and conditions of sale at any time. In this case, the applicable conditions will be those in force on the date of the order by the Customer.

2 - Characteristics of the proposed properties

The products sold are those listed in the catalog published on the Shadesgeneva website. These products are available for sale within the limits of available stocks. The characteristics of the products as well as the photos visible on the site are given only as an indication. The photographs in the catalog are as accurate as possible but cannot ensure perfect similarity with the product offered, particularly with regard to colors and cannot have any contractual value. In case of unavailability of a product, we will inform you as soon as possible.

3 - Rates

The prices in the catalog are prices including VAT in Swiss francs taking into account the VAT applicable on the day of the order; any change in the rate may be reflected in the price of the products. Shadesgeneva reserves the right to modify its prices at any time and without notice, it being understood, however, that the price appearing in the catalog on the day of the order will be the only one applicable to the Customer. Shadesgeneva reserves the right not to deliver products whose prices are incorrect, but undertakes to inform its customers of a price difference and to offer alternative products. Shadesgeneva can carry out sales or promotions on its catalog. These offers are only valid during the period of publication on the site and cannot be requested retroactively.

Shadesgeneva also offers a tool to display prices and place orders in another currency. The exchange rate applied is regularly updated but Shadesgeneva cannot accept any claim related to a difference between the exchange rate applied and the exchange rate in force. Any bank charges resulting from payment made by the Customer in another currency remain at his expense.

The Customer has the possibility to have his order delivered to his home: in this case delivery costs will be added to the prices of the products and will be displayed in the "shopping basket" section. Shipping costs are calculated according to the weight and volume of the order as well as the delivery address.

4 - Deliveries

Deliveries are made to the delivery address specified by the customer during the ordering process.

Shadesgeneva delivers to all countries served by the Swiss Post. Contact us in case of special delivery request.

The amount of shipping costs is indicated in the "shopping cart" section and is subject to the approval of the Customer before the validation of each order; the amount may vary depending on the weight of your package and the country of delivery.

  • 4.1. Shipping costs

Shipping costs are offered free of charge in Switzerland.

Deliveries outside Switzerland are charged at a flat rate. Deliveries outside Switzerland are made on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. Swiss VAT will be deducted from the purchase price but the recipient must pay the carrier the import taxes (VAT of the recipient country), as well as all customs duties and charges relating to his order and which will be requested upon delivery.

  • 4.2. Delivery times

Delivery times apply once the payment has been registered with our accounting department, the package has been prepared and deposited with our delivery service provider, for products in stock. For products that are not in stock, it is necessary to add an approximate delay of 6 weeks corresponding to the average manufacturing time of Shadesgeneva. Shipping takes place when all the items in the same order are in stock.

The delivery times are those of the Swiss Post, namely:

1 to 2 working days for Switzerland

  • - 7 to 14 working days for other countries, depending on the conditions of the local post office.
  • Delivery may be delaved.
  • Shadesgeneva undertakes to inform the customer of any delay in delivery but cannot be held liable for any compensation on this account.
      • 4.3. Delivery Terms and Conditions

      For each order, a tracking slip will be communicated to each customer.

      In the event of damage during transport, the reasoned protest must be made within three days of delivery. The Customer must contact shadesgeneva Customer Service by email for any complaint.

      The claim must be completed with photos of the damage and the damaged part(s).

      5 - Warranties in case of defects and retraction

          •  Legal Guarantees

          In the event of non-conformity of a product sold, shadesgeneva warranty is limited to the return of the product and the exchange or refund of the product, provided that the Customer complies with the conditions and deadlines indicated in the following paragraph.

          Regardless of the existence of a non-conformity of the product, the Customer, a non-professional natural person, has a withdrawal period of 14 days from the delivery of his order to notify shadesgeneva of the return of the product for exchange or refund.

          The product must be returned in its original packaging and must not have been worn. 

          Returns of orders shipped within Switzerland and outside Switzerland are the responsibility of the Customer.

          The Customer must attach to his shipment the product, the number of the order concerned by the return, the description of the product or products concerned by the return, as well as a request for an exchange or refund.

          The return address is :

          The refund is made within 15 days of the registration of your return. It is carried out directly according to the payment method used by the Customer when placing his order.

          Orders placed on the shadesgeneva website can be retourned and exchanged in the store in Geneva.

          For reasons of hygiene, jewelry ordered on the shadesgeneva website cannot be returned.

          6 - Warranties and Liability

          Shadesgeneva has taken all necessary precautions to ensure both the reliability of information and secure access to its website www.shadesgeneva.com

          However, Shadesgeneva cannot, under any circumstances, guarantee the total absence of material errors, technical deficiencies or other unintended problems.

          Similarly, no guarantee can be given as to the compatibility of the site with your particular needs and uses.

          Shadesgeneva cannot be held liable for any damage whatsoever related to the use of its site, and disclaims any responsibility for the information contained in other sites that may be linked to its own by a hypertext link or any other means.

          7 - Conditions of use of the website

          The use of the www.shadesgeneva.com site is authorized for private use only. Any commercial use, in particular for the purpose of reselling the products purchased on the site to third parties, is prohibited.

          Any violation of this obligation will be sanctioned. Damages are reserved.

          8 - Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

          The relationship between shadesgeneva and the Client is governed by Swiss law.

          For any dispute relating to the relationship between shadesgeneva and the client, the place of jurisdiction is the registered office of shadesgeneva.
